for this extended day program with Cris and Deanna Duncan

    Lighting for Sales  1pm-5:30pm

    and

    Put People First 7pm-9:30pm

(dinner break: 5:30-6:45pm and Association updates 7-7:10pm)

PPA Members attending 6.5 hours of instruction will receive 1 PPA merit!

    Lighting For Sales

Photography is a beautiful blend of art and science.  It is taking a vision in your head and then knowing the recipe to create it in the camera.

Recipes all start with a knowledge of ingredients and how to combine them in new and unique ways—ways that define your personal style.

Join Cris and Deanna Duncan for an interactive class of defining or refining your photographic “recipes.”  With a special way of simplifying the complex, the Duncans walk you through high level lighting principles and help you adapt them to your personal workflow.

This class is a TEAM.  Together everyone will move from point A to point B in their skill level.  If you have been photographing for 30 years or 3, this class will change the way you view sessions and empower you to create things you once only dreamed about.  High key with one light.  Yes.  Fashion inspired hard lighting.  Yes.  Romantic soft lighting or balancing flash with ambient.  Yes.  Cris’ signature “wonky light”.  Absolutely.  It’s this and much, much more.  If you are natural light only or a pro with five strobes in studio, this class will help you connect with like-minded creatives and take your lighting and posing to a whole new level as you create lighting “recipes” that reflect your photographic vision.

    Put People First

In this course, we start with creating harmony within your images.  We go far beyond the basic color wheel and explore the meanings behind the colors and find new ways to layer the color and the meaning to create images that SPEAK.

Your images will NEVER BE THE SAME as you learn the "secret sauce" in creating images that SELL.

Just the first part would be enough to transform your photographic work.

    BUT THERE IS MORE.

Often photographers are great with connecting with clients that are just like them.  However, in doing this, they leave a lot of money and potential on the table.  What if you could connect with EVERYONE?

What if you could quickly identify personality types and then customize their session to match their values?  What if you could "speak" everyone's personal language?  What if clients left your sessions saying, "they really got me.  They saw me for who I really am."

    Guys, that is EMPOWERING.

People First is all about seeing beyond the dollar signs.  It's about valuing people and affirming them in a way that ultimately does lead to dollars, but in a way that makes everyone feel great.
