Social Media Terms for Maryland PPA
You must be following MDPPA on the applicable social media platform and tag #MDPPA for your Content to be shared by us. Content means anything that you have posted or shared with others.
By tagging your Content with the #MDPPA hashtag and following MDPPA, you are giving MDPPA a license to use the Content on our social media sites and on our other websites, apps, e-mails, printed materials and social media channels for advertising, marketing and/or promotional purposes.
You own the Content (as defined above) that you submit. Nothing in these Terms changes that.
You are also giving Maryland Professional Photographers Association a license to use your name, image and other biographic material in conjunction with the Content. Creator credit will be given to you for your Content by tagging your social media account and/or providing other identifying material (i.e., name, website links).
If any third party has any rights in your Content (e.g., someone else took a photo or appears in a photo), you represent that you have all the rights and permissions needed from those third parties to grant Maryland Professional Photographers Association the license to use your Content in accordance with these Terms and nothing in the Content is inappropriate or defamatory.
You are releasing Maryland Professional Photographers Association from any liability arising out of its use of the Content as described in these terms and you promise not to sue Maryland Professional Photographers Association for such use.
