Bodyscapes with Matt Meiers

This event is for MDPPA members only; we welcome you to become a member and register for our event!

Join us in Ellicott City on Historic Main Street at the PHOENIX EMPORIUM restaurant for an intriguing evening behind the scenes with a Matt Meiers' Bodyscape session!  Matt will begin with a brief demonstration of his use of ring lights and strobes at the beginning of each session. He will then explain how he prepares his clients for their Bodyscapes session, helping them relax and building their trust.  Matt calls these sessions "Shoulders Up Sexy!" By showing clients that they can be sexy from the shoulders up, they oftentimes are comfortable trying more risque poses.  That is when the magic can really happen.

After a short break, Matt will photograph the later part of his sessions, explaining exactly what he's looking for in order to produce the incredible images he creates.  Q&A will be going on throughout the evening!

Evening Schedule:

HAPPY HOUR: 5:30pm-6:30pm

Monthly Business Meeting 6:30pm-7:00pm

Bodyscapes Program: 7:00pm-9:30pm

About Matt

Matt Meiers is a bodyscape and portrait artist who believes that the art of creating amazing images starts with the experience.  He uses each client's vision and individual needs as a platform for which to build their session, then artfully applies his skill and technique during the session to create custom images that are special to each client.  Matt believes that each client is unique, and deserves to have an experience to match.

We greatly appreciate the generous support from Matt's sponsor, Miller's Lab !

We also are thankful for support from The Phoenix Emporium for our evening event.  See their website for menu and other details about the Phoenix Emporium:
