ABOUT CAT THREADGILL
Cat Threadgill, Cr.Photog., CPP, is a North Texas-based photographer, educator, and business professional whose career uniquely bridges the worlds of photography and finance.
She holds the Photographic Craftsman degree and Certified Professional Photographer designation from Professional Photographers of America (PPA), reflecting her commitment to both photographic excellence and photographic education.
Cat’s father was in the military and because of this she and her family traveled the world; living in Europe, Southeast Asia and across the United States; attending 6 different schools in 12 years. Cat grew up seeing her father with a camera in his hand and at the age of ten purchased her own camera with her baby-sitting money. After a 12 year hiatus from photography Cat is now making up for lost time, by attending workshops, schools, travel event and passing on her knowledge to other photographers.
Besides her photography Cat has built a successful career in financial management, working as an accountant, family law paralegal, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, and Family Law Mediator. Over the course of more than four decades, she has helped individuals and businesses understand their finances, organize records, and make informed decisions.
Recognizing that many photographers struggle with bookkeeping and financial
management, Cat combined her professional financial expertise with her passion for photography education to create programs specifically designed for creative professionals.
