Bombshell Beauty: A Guide to Pin Up Portraiture ( Full-Day Version 1 - 9 pm )
This class will focus on capturing the essence of vintage glamor in our images. Danny will cover the importance of lighting and how to use it to create a flattering, classic look for your models. You will learn how to pose your subjects in a way that accentuates their curves and features, as well as how to create a fun and playful atmosphere on set. You will work with pinup models and have the opportunity to experiment with different hair and makeup styles to bring out the retro vibe in your shots. Whether you are an experienced photographer or just starting out, this class promises to be an exciting and memorable experience, full of laughter, creativity, and gorgeous images to add to your portfolio.

Select the full-day ticket that applies to you during registration. Those registering for this course automatically receive access to the "Pin-Up Portrait Shootout!" session (You do not need to register for the evening session). PPA attendees will receive one merit for attending this course.
Pin-Up Portraiture Shootout! ( Hands-on only session 6:30 - 9 pm )
Those who have attended the class will have a chance to practice what they have learned and receive 1-on-1 guidance from Danny during this session. For those who simply want to participate in a hands-on practice session without the educational component, this is for you! We will have a vintage car on site and will be using that as a prop with our model. These will be “natural light” portraits mixed with “strobes.” This will be a great time to come out and have fun with your fellow photographers.
Select the Pin-Up Portraiture Shootout ticket that applies to you during registration. You will not receive a PPA merit for attending this session only. PPA merits will only apply to those registered for the full-day course.

Danny Douglas is an award-winning photographer who serves clients in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia regions. With a photographic journey spanning three decades, Danny's love for the art of photography remains as vibrant as when he first picked up a camera during his high school years.
Formally educated with a degree in visual communications from the Maryland College of Art and Design, Danny is a proud member of both the Professional Photographers of America and the Maryland Professional Photographers Association, showcasing his commitment to professionalism and continual growth in his field. Danny currently resides in Maryland.
