Star Power: Photographs from Hollywood’s Golden Age by George Hurrell
Organized by MDPPA Member Anne Looney in the Gallery Day Out series, as an opportunity to get out together and enjoy art and work on exhibition!
The Details: All are welcome! You do not need to be an MDPPA member to join us. We will meet in the atrium that connects the Portrait Gallery with the American Art Gallery, and go to the exhibition together. We have a tour scheduled for 4:30!
National Portrait Gallery 8th and G Streets, NW Washington, DC Hours: 11:30 am-7:00 pm every day and is located at G and 8th Streets, NW WDC
Meeting Time: Anne will be at the Portrait Gallery starting at 3pm and welcomes you to join her anytime from that point to wander the Gallery until our official exhibition tour. She plans to be in the atrium cafe for a coffee from about 3- 3:15 pm or so and welcomes you to meet her there.
Tour Time: Our special tour begins officially at 4:30 pm, but PLEASE meet us at 4:15 pm at the information desk inside the G and 8th Street entrance! Since the tour begins at 4:30, it is essential that we are all assembled early.
Entrance and Parking: Entrance is FREE. Parking is available on the street or in nearby garages.
