Heather Cook M.Photog.M.Wed.Photog.Cr., CPP (JIT)
Heather Cook has been in the photography industry for 25 years. Heather has earned a Master Degree from PPA, as well as her CPP She also earned her Wedding Degree from PPA in 2023.
Earlier this year Heather also received her Craftsman. Heather has won several awards from her local guild, IPPA, which she was also the President of in 2022. One of Heather's exciting awards was earning the Grand Imaging award in 2020 in the General Portrait category. Heather specializes in photographing families of any size, and has a passion for bringing out the very best in everyone.
Cris Duncan M.Photog.M.Artist.Cr., CPP
Cris Duncan, along with his wife, Deanna, owns and operates CJ Duncan Photography in Lubbock, Texas, offering high-end commercial, portrait and wedding photography.
Cris is a Certified Professional Photographer and holds the Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman degrees. Since turning pro in 2002, he has photographed Presidents, Vice Presidents, dignitaries and countless others. He has worked for such companies as Frito-Lay and Bayer CropScience and has been honored to photograph numerous weddings, portraits and commercial assignments.
In addition to his business, Cris is a highly sought-after photographer and educator. Cris was a PPA Photographer of the Year and is also the recipient of several awards and honors. Cris is a regular instructor at Texas School, Imaging USA and many other networks across North America. Cris is an approved CPP Instructor, PPA Juror and founder of Find Your Focus Photographic education™.
Jamie Hayes M.Photog.M.Wed.Photog.Cr., CPP, ABI, API, ABI, API
Jamie attributes the success of their studio, along with business partner Mary Fisk-Taylor, to their sound management and business skills combined with their love and passion for photography. His commitment to creating priceless portraits, wedding albums and commercial imagery has earned him an extremely loyal clientele as well as a sterling reputation in the state of Virginia. Their business savvy and creative marketing concepts have enabled them to establish an extremely profitable and fulfilling portrait and wedding gallery. As a PPA Approved Business Instructor and PPA Approved Photographic Instructor, Jamie offers informative and motivational programs to working photographers. Jamie has participated in several state, regional, national and international conferences giving both full-day and week long classes. As an affiliate PPA juror he has the pleasure to judge several international print competitions throughout the US. He is a proud member of several professional photography organizations, including: Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Virginia Professional Photographers Association (VPPA), The Society of XXV and the International Society of Portrait Artists. Jamie has been honored with many awards on both state and national levels. His achievements include the Kodak Gallery Elite Award of Excellence, numerous Kodak Gallery Awards of Excellence, PPA Loan collections, multiple ASP Regional Medallion Awards, SEPPA Distinguished Awards, Best Wedding Albums VPPA, Best of Category, Fuji Masterpiece Awards and the VPPA Photographer (Highest Print Case) several times as well as one of the Top Ten Photographers for the entire state of Virginia. Jamie will earn the distinguished honor of ASP Fellow in January of 2018 as the 122 photographer in the world to earn this degree.
Pete Rezac M.Photog.M.Artist.Cr., CPP
Pete Rezac, a portrait photographer based in Reno, Nevada, still chooses to
work with 35mm, medium and large format cameras and film in creating his work. He loves the tactile process it provides him, along with the experience it provides his clients. Seeking an authentic look to his portraits, Pete was inspired to create timeless portraits showing subjects at their best. This work has earned him numerous accolades from the photographic community.
Pete holds the Master of Photography, Master Artist, Photographic Craftsman, and Certified Professional Photographer degrees and designations from the Professional Photographers of America. He is an active educator teaching and mentoring other professional photographers throughout the United States, something that he very much loves to do! Pete also proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Professional Photographers of America on it’s executive committee as Treasurer, and is an approved PPA Image Juror. Additionally, he is a past President and Board Chair for the Professional Photographers of California.
Accomplishments:
Pete has earned the PPA 100 speaking merits bar and will be receiving his 2nd 100 speaking merit bar in 2024.
Pete has earned his PPA Merit Image Review (formerly International
Photographic Competition) 50 merit bar for excellence in Photographic Image
Making.
Pete has earned the PPA Imaging Excellence Award for placing images into
PPA’s prestigious Imaging Excellence Collection.
Pete has been featured in PPA’s “Professional Photographer” magazine for his Children’s Character Portraits, Charitable Marketing, and being a Certified
Professional Photographer.
Pete has taught both pre-convention and platform demonstration programs at
PPA’s Imaging USA in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022.
Pete was awarded the PPA National Award from the Professional Photographers of California in 2020.
Paula Swift M.Photog.Cr., CPP
Paula Swift, M.Photog. Cr.,CPP started her portrait photography business in Framingham, MA in 2004 and then move her studio to Sudbury, MA in 2013. She is the Past President of the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts – PPAM (2021-2023), a PPA Councilor and PPA Approved Juror.
Paula was a staff photographer at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette in Worcester, Mass from 1995-2005. Three of her images were part of a Pulitzer nomination and finalist entry in 2000 in feature photography for the photography staff’s coverage of a deadly warehouse fire that took the lives of six firefighters in 1999.
January 2024, Paula’s image titled “Runny Colors” made it to the top two in the Sports Category in PPA’s IPC and earned a Platinum medal. Paula was recognized as a Silver Medalist in 2022 and 2014, 2018, 2019, 2020 a Bronze Medalist at previous IPCs.
