Enter your images at www.printcompetition.com under the MDPPA competition tab. The portal to enter your images for our ANNUAL COMPETITION closes for entries on October 8 at 11 PM Eastern.
- Fee Structure: Members: $10/image; Non-members: $20/image
- Number of entries allowed: A maximum of 23 entries are allowed by each maker; eight entries are allowed in any one category in a competition.

Brad Barton is a North Texas based artist who is a Certified Professional Photographer and holds Master of Photography, Master Artist, and Photographic Craftsman degrees from Professional Photographers of America. He loves to teach and write about both art and photography.
Cindy Dover M.Photog,Cr, CPP
Julie is a Certified Professional Photographer and holds a Master of Photography, Master Artist, Master of Wedding Photography, and Photographic Craftsman’s degree. She has been featured in and on the cover of regional magazines, The Photographer, Cincy Magazine, Bridal Bliss, Receptions, and Professional Photographer (PPA). She holds a Master of Education and taught elementary visual arts, social studies, special needs, and 3rd grade for 30 years in Ohio schools. She now resides in Northern Kentucky on the 111 acres that she calls her Outdoor Studio.
Dwight Okumoto M. Photog., M.Wed.Photog., M. Artist, MEI., Cr., CPP., API.
While continuing with his education, Dwight obtained all five photographic Masters Degrees. Dwight has been professionally judging for PPA's Photographic Merit Image Reviews since 1996. Dwight is approved for all judging categories including wedding and event albums. He was awarded with 64 Kodak Gallery Awards, with 4 prestigious Eastman Kodak Elite Galleries, 8 years of exhibition at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT Center Gallery in Florida.
Ed Pedi, M. Photog., Cr., CPP.
Ed Pedi has resided in North Andover, Massachusetts for the past forty years where he has owned and operated his No. Andover based photography studio since 1992. He is an eight-time recipient of PPA ‘Photographer of the Year’ award and a two-time recipient of the prestigious PPA National Award. In 2018, he was honored with the Helen K. Yancy award for meritorious service to professional photography.
Thom Rouse M.Photog.MEI.Cr., CPP, F-ASP
Based in Connecticut Thom divides his time between commercial, fine art and commissioned fine art images. He has been an IPC Juror since 2006. Thom holds the PPA Master of Photography degree, the Award of Excellence, the Master of Electronic Imaging degree, and the Photographic Craftsman degree. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Photographers, an ASP Educational Associate and a member of the Camera Craftsman of America.
Our ANNUAL COMPETITION is different than our quarterly competitions, so please be sure to carefully review our Image Competition page for the updated rules.
Remember: If your image has merited at an MDPPA Annual Competition, it is no longer eligible to be entered in any future MDPPA competitions (except for score only). Starting in 2023, any images merited at PPA's Merit Image Reviews are eligible to compete at MDPPA unless they have merited at any MDPPA Annual Competition.
