Later this Fall, we will be learning from Judy Reinford about creating beautiful art from our animal images through digital painting. In preparation for Judy’s more advanced class, start by first learning the basics of painting with MDPPA’s Paul Biederman and Carol Davis via Zoom.
This course is designed for those interested in learning the basics of digital painting; we’ll start from scratch, learning how to do masking and how to paint on layers and blank layers. Paul and Carol guarantee to remove the fear of using the brush and mixer brush to paint on the images they’ll provide for you. Day one will be instruction and practice. Day two will be for Q&A after you have had time to practice those techniques independently.
In preparation for this course, make sure the desktop/laptop you plan to use has Photoshop installed and updated. It is highly recommended that you use a Wacom digital drawing tablet with a pen (available new on Amazon or used on eBay for under $100). Using a mouse is ok, but you won’t get the feel of the brush strokes like you will with a tablet and pen.
This class will be recorded and made available to all registrants.
