Google My Business
SEO is important if you want to be found on the internet. And we put a lot of energy into optimizing our websites, but we're still not getting leads, calls, or website clicks. Google is the #1 Search Engine (especially on mobile), so having a Google My Business profile is one of the easiest - and least expensive (free!) - ways to be found when someone searches for a local business. And people searching for local businesses are 'warm leads' - they are actively searching, wanting, and needing your product or service! You have probably been seeing and interacting with GMB profiles of other businesses that you search for, but don't even realize it. But you can't just 'set it and forget it'. Google likes businesses that engage with their clients, and use their 'tools'. Consistently updating your GMB profile shows Google that you're relevant - and that your website is relevant. Like Social Media, you need to nurture it. Join us for this program with Cassandra Sullivan, where you'll learn how to do this and come away with actionable items that you can do to show up in local Google Search.

About the Speakers

Hilda Blodgett, HJB and Associates

Owner strength and empowerment comes from clear financial decisions. My extensive and varied finance background makes me well suited to assist small businesses, LLC's, entrepreneurs, and sole proprietors. Let's collaborate and get you to the next level. I began as a Wall Street Arbitrage research analyst and fund manager for 12 years, followed by almost a decade in Commercial Banking, first as a loan underwriter and then as the Commercial Loan Manager. Detail oriented I can still think outside the box and see the big picture. My open mind and clear communication lead to success. My creative side is alive and active. To be happy I must create. Although I love the world of finance, my own small companies have been creative pursuits linked to my first love of sewing and fashion. From wedding gowns to ballroom dance costumes, home decorating and floral arrangements, my unique color sense and extensive travel fuel my designs. I thrive on the adventure of new people, cultures, foods, and businesses. www.hjbandassociates.com
