Treat Yourself to a Day of inspiration!

Join MDPPA members Steve Clark, Cr.Photog, CPP, and Anne Looney, Cr.Photog, CPP, at the world-renowned National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC on November 14th for a refreshing day of reflection, discussion, and discovery with your colleagues.

Every generation of artists learns from and builds upon their peers and predecessors. Enhance your creativity and apply it to your business!  We will start the day with an Eric Denker-led tour of the fantastic exhibition Verrocchio: Sculptor and Painter of Renaissance Florence.  Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore the Gallery together or as individual reflection.

This event is for everyone who is inspired by great art, no matter the medium.  We encourage you to bring friends, a spouse, or anyone who would enjoy a day at the museum.   Join us!

10-10:15am - meet at National Gallery of Art, 4th Street WEST Rotunda (the older of the two buildings). The building opens at 10am.  There is parking on the street (paid parking with park mobile or the kiosk).

10:30am - meet Eric Denker, Education Department Lecturer, for a tour of Verrocchio

11:30am - 12:30pm -  lunch and discussion in cafeteria (bring your lunch, or money to purchase lunch)

12:30-2:30pm - free time in exhibitions/collections

Two photography exhibits are currently on view, and will still be on view during our visit: "The Eye of the Sun: 19th century photographs from the National Gallery of Art" and "By the Light of the Silvery Moon: A Century of Lunar Photographs"

We have limited space available for the tour. So that we can plan ahead, and make certain we know who to expect in case we need to communicate any schedule changes, please register for this event.  Thank you! We look forward to spending the time with you!
