2015 Convention Program
MDPPA is excited to offer a creative fashion shoot from beginning to end. Live demo with interaction, including the topics: artistic creativity, developing concepts, directing hair and makeup, outfit/accessories/backdrop selections using the elements/principles of design, studio lighting, setting the mood, posing, shooting and editing.
This will be a very “forward thinking” program that will show proven methods to boost creativity, the elements and principles of design, and other concepts that can be applied to any form of photography regardless of the subject matter, equipment or knowledge level.
Brian's Bio:
Brian DeMint of Eyeworks Photography is an art fashion photographer based in Joplin, Missouri. Formally trained as an oil painter, Brian made the switch to photography in 2004 and is self-educated in both photography and digital manipulation. By combining the classic elements of design with the digital technologies of today, he creates visually striking imagery with emphasis on emotive color and unique styling with the help of his wife Dena who provides Hair Styling and Makeup application.
Brian’s publishing credits include: Fiori Fashion Magazine, Digital Photo Pro, AfterCapture Magazine, Italian “A” fashion, Bust Magazine, Cut & Dry, Sessions Magazine, Cliché’ Magazine among many other publications. Brian is also a Speaker on the National level with AfterDark Education, Sandy Puc’ Tours, SPA, PPA, Inferno Workshops and has appeared on the Photovision DVD Series.
